FINALIS PGA absorbable suture

PGA Finalis sutures are synthetic, absorbable, sterile surgical sutures composed of polyglycolic acid (PGA). The empirical formula of the polymer is (C2H2O2)n. The braided sutures are uniformly coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate. PGA sutures comply with the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia for "Sutures, sterile, synthetic, absorbable, braided" and those of the US Pharmacopoeia for "Absorbable surgical sutures."
