Materials:
- Several materials are available on the dental market, the most common is latex. For people that are latex-intolerant, there are also nitrile and vinyl gloves.
- To increase comfort, several materials have a scent, such as aleo vera or mint.
Treatment of the surface of the glove:
- The surface is either micro-textured, either smooth. A micro-textured surface gives a better grip.
Important:
- Non sterile gloves are ambidextrous (no difference between right and left)
- Sterile gloves are not ambidextrous.
